Heaton Hall

Overview

Heaton Hall is one of the North West’s most impressive and important buildings and retains many classically inspired paintings. The principal rooms have been beautifully restored and furnished, giving visitors an insight into life at Heaton in the late 18th and early 19th century. Heaton Hall welcomes visitors with disabilities. Although wheelchair access is only available on the ground floor, the majority of the rooms open to the public can be seen on this floor. The nearest accessible toilets are situated 100 yards from the house. Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.
